An off-duty Dallas ISD police officer shot at three burglars who broke into a storage shed outside his Mesquite home Sunday.
The homeowner reported the break-in about 2:30 p.m. at his home in the 900 block of Micarta Drive, police said. He said he went out to investigate an alarm and spotted two men and a woman removing property from his storage building.
